The 22-year-old wasn’t named in Manchester United’s submitted Premier League squad and he’s yet to feature this season.

The former Chelsea youngster, who joined the Red Devils in 2017, spent last season on loan at Championship side Hull City.

Bernard made 28 appearances for the Tigers having spent the majority of the season prior on loan at League Two side Salford City.

Bernard was an unused substitute in our under-21s 6-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
