Amad Diallo highlighted the major impact that Casemiro and three other key Manchester United first-team players have had on him at Old Trafford so far.

The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder sparked a remarkable turnaround in form under former Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim in the 2024-25 Premier League season.
Casemiro had been integral to Ruben Amorim’s plans in the current campaign, having played alongside Bruno Fernandes in the two-man midfield pivot.
Amorim’s sacking as Man Utd manager paved the way for Michael Carrick’s arrival and Casemiro has continued to play a key role under the interim head coach.

Amad Diallo speaks out on Casemiro and two of his important Man Utd teammates outside of Bruno Fernandes
Amad Diallo opened up on the important role, both on the pitch and off it, that Red Devils skipper Bruno Fernandes has played for him since his move to Old Trafford.
However, the 23-year-old Ivorian winger was asked if there were any other significant Manchester United first-team players who stood out for him.
Amad is now worth ___________
Fill in the blank!
Amad singled out Casemiro’s influence on him and the Ivory Coast international also praised former Red Devils skipper Harry Maguire and defender Lisandro Martinez.
“Apart from Bruno, I think everyone is very important for me,” he said on Manchester United’s Inside Carrington podcast.
“I learn every day from experienced players like Casemiro. He came from Real Madrid, he won everything. So having players like this in the dressing room is very important.
“Having players like Lisandro, who also won the World Cup. Players like Harry Maguire, even if he’s not the captain, but he’s a big leader in the dressing room.”
Amad Diallo’s praise for experienced Man Utd figures extends to the ‘unbelievable’ Tom Heaton
Alongside the likes of Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Fernandes and Casemiro, Amad made sure to place the spotlight on an experienced figure like Tom Heaton as well.
“Tom, an unbelievable player, an unbelievable man,” he added.
“He talks with everyone; he gives advice to every young player. So, having people like this in the dressing room is very important for young players like us, because they tell us to be humble.
“And even when we do things great, they tell us to be humble and to do things right, and to go step by step.”
United are currently fourth in the Premier League table and the Red Devils will now return to action on 23rd February against Everton at Goodison Park.
