It's the worst possible timing! Who should replace him?
The 2-1 lead United had thanks to Casemiro and Amad Diallo had fallen apart after Bournemouth took a 3-2 lead inside the opening 10 minutes of the second half.
An X user, ‘@UtdKev8,’ on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, shared footage of a visibly frustrated Casemiro taking his place in the dugout.
Casemiro could be seen slamming his water bottle onto the floor and appeared to be saying something to someone, with United trailing 3-2 on the scoreline at the time.
The Brazil captain even put on his coat upside down amid his frustration before preparing to take his place alongside the other United first-team players on the bench.
Ruben Amorim asked about Casemiro’s suspension after Man Utd’s 4-4 Premier League draw vs Bournemouth
Ruben Amorim said opportunities will be open in the starting XI after Casemiro’s suspension and soon losing players to the 2025 AFCON tournament.
“It’s an opportunity for everyone,” he said at his post-match press conference, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“We will be ready for the challenge. We already knew that [could] happen to any team. A lot of teams are going to lose players, a lot of teams have injuries.
“We need to just go for the next game with a responsibility to win the game, to fight, and we will try to find different ways of creating chances and scoring those.”
Casemiro will now be eligible for selection again for United’s Premier League clash against Newcastle at Old Trafford on 26th December.
