Suspended Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has celebrated the team’s win over Fulham.

United fought back from 1-0 down to beat Fulham 3-1 at Old Trafford after a dramatic second half.

A dour first half saw the misery compiled by Fulham taking the lead early in the second. But there was plenty of drama left to come.

Willian handballed a shot from Jadon Sancho on the line, before a penalty was awarded and protests led to two Fulham players and their manager being sent off.

United win quarter-final

Manchester United’s resilience led to the come from behind win, following on from the fifth round victory over West Ham.

Bruno Fernandes scored twice and Marcel Sabitzer netted another, his first ever goal for the club.

United had to do it all without Casemiro, who was beginning his four-game domestic suspension after a harsh red card last week.

Casemiro showed his approval with a ‘strong arm emoji’ reacting to Manchester United’s win.

It was important for United to get this victory without Casemiro, ahead of the three remaining Premier League games after the international break.

It will have hurt Casemiro to sit this game out, and he will be relieved United went through, and that he has another chance to play at Wembley, this time in the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton.

United’s remarkable run continues

United have won every single game of this FA Cup run by a 3-1 scoreline.

Everton, Reading, West Ham and Fulham have now all lost 3-1 to United, with all four games taking place at Old Trafford.

The semi-final and final will be held at Wembley. With a bit of luck, another two 3-1 wins await.
