Ancelotti put pressure on Cunha and his teammates with his post-match comments after beating Panama, but in general, the Italian has been a big fan of United’s forward.
As quoted by CazeTV on Instagram, Ancelotti was asked to summarise several of his Brazil players with only one word.
When asked about Matheus Cunha, Ancelotti used the word: ‘Altruismo’, or altruism in English.
Ancelotti was quick to point out Cunha’s selflessness, and that is a quality that United have seen from the Brazilian in his first season at Old Trafford.
