Marcus Rashford led the line impressively for Manchester United against Tottenham, earning plaudits from his teammates.
Even though he did not score, Rashford caused problems for Tottenham all night and forced goalkeeper Hugo Lloris into a succession of saves.
Rashford is currently Manchester United’s highest goalscorer this season with five goals and the joint-leader for assists with three, alongside Christian Eriksen.
He is expected to lead the line this coming weekend against Chelsea with Cristiano Ronaldo axed from the squad.

‘Rashford is benefiting from focusing on football’
Former Manchester United number 7 Bryan Robson believes Erik ten Hag deserves credit for the way he has helped Rashford turn his career around.
Rashford ended last season at a low ebb, dropped from the side and also losing his place in the England squad.
Robson believes Rashford is benefiting from focusing on football, he told talkSPORT.
The former midfielder said: “He [Ten Hag] sees that players need encouragement, he sees that they need guidance.
“I think maybe Marcus after the last World Cup just got a little bit carried away with off-the-field stuff and lost his focus on his game.
“I think now he’s realised that and he’s getting back to focusing on his career and what’s best for him is he’s a footballer and he’s focusing more on that so we’re getting the best out of him again.”
Rashford is anxiously waiting to find out if he has made it into the England squad ahead of the World Cup.
An injury cost him a place in the side for the September internationals, so Rashford has to make his current performances count.
He is playing very well, even though he has lacked a ruthless streak in matches against Newcastle and Tottenham. He will get another chance to hit the back of the net this weekend against Chelsea.
