Bryan Mbeumo has admitted that he has noticed a visible change in his playing style at Manchester United compared with his time at Premier League side Brentford.
The Manchester United star had an explosive final season at Brentford in the 2024-25 campaign, with Bryan Mbeumo netting 20 times in 42 matches for the Bees.
Mbeumo’s strong run of form caught the eye of the Red Devils and Man Utd splashed out last summer to acquire the services of the 26-year-old forward.
The Cameroon international has had a solid debut season at Old Trafford after his 2025 transfer, as Mbeumo has scored 10 times in 32 matches for United.

Bryan Mbeumo already established himself as a key Manchester United first-team player in the 2025-26 season, whether under Ruben Amorim or Michael Carrick.
The former Brentford star has shown his versatility in different formations and positions, including playing as a winger and striker under Michael Carrick.
Mbeumo did make a strong start to his debut season at Old Trafford, but the Cameroon winger has endured a major dip in form in recent months at United.
Speaking on Manchester United’s official podcast, Mbeumo admitted that he has been tapping into his “strengths” and has modified his playing style at the club.
“Yeah, I think I also understood my strengths as well, which is the speed and trying to like stretch the defence,” he said on the Inside Carrington show.
“And obviously, I’ve always been told [that] if you want to score a goal and you don’t run in behind, I think you have less chance to score. So, I’ve been applying this kind of hint.
“And yeah, I think I’ve developed my game a lot.”

United paid a hefty initial £65m transfer fee and agreed to a further £6m in add-ons to sign Mbeumo from Premier League side Brentford last summer.
The Cameroon international admitted that building close relationships with his teammates at Brentford was something he intended to replicate at Man Utd.
“Yeah, I think it’s the most important because when I remember my years in Brentford, everyone was really close to each other,” he explained.
“And then, yeah, when I joined here, I was really happy to join here because I felt kind of the same feelings.
“And yeah, when you are really good with each other outside of the field, it’s always easier to create links on the pitch.”
Man Utd are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon and the Red Devils will host Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford for a 12:30pm kick-off time.
