Bruno Fernandes dropped a clear-cut message to Manchester United fans after the Red Devils scraped a 1-0 Premier League win over Fulham on Sunday evening.
Manchester United beat Scottish side Ranges 2-1 in the Europa League at Old Trafford on Thursday evening ahead of their visit to Craven Cottage.
Ruben Amorim’s men played out a 0-0 scoreline in a largely uneventful first half against Fulham before United broke the deadlock late in the second half.
Lisandro Martinez’s long-range strike in the 78th minute took a huge deflection off Sasa Lukic and the looping effort landed in the back of the Fulham net.
United were unfortunate not to win the Premier League match 2-0 after Amad Diallo’s injury-time strike was ruled out after VAR intervened.

Fernandes’ message after Man Utd win
Manchester United have climbed to 12th place in the Premier League table and the Red Devils are now 12 points adrift from the top four after 23 matches played.
Ruben Amorim’s men have won only eight league matches this season and the Red Devils are 13 points clear from falling into the Premier League relegation zone.
The United manager, who turned 40 years old today, will now switch his focus to the Europa League for the Red Devils’ important clash against Romanian outfit FCSB.
Amorim’s side can definitely ensure their place in the last 16 of the Europa League if they pick up a win at the National Arena in Bucharest on Thursday evening.
Following the scrappy result against Fulham at Craven Cottage, United captain Bruno Fernandes took to Instagram and sent out a poignant message.
The 30-year-old United midfielder included a photo of him celebrating with Lisandro Martinez alongside one of himself before making his feelings heard with the caption.
“YANITED YANITED YANITED [sic],” Fernandes wrote.
Amad Diallo was spotted in the comments of the Portugal international’s post and the United winger dropped a GIF of Fernandes celebrating as his response.
Amorim on Man Utd winner vs Fulham
Speaking at his post-match press conference, United manager Amorim admitted that sometimes a bit of “luck” is needed to secure all three Premier League points.
“You need sometimes a little bit of luck, and we had some games that we lost, and in the end, nobody cares because the result [is what] counts,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“I remember some chances that we miss, for example against Nottingham [Forest], Bournemouth, some goals in the first minute of the game that change the game. So, today I can see it that we have a lot to improve.
“We didn’t play so well with the ball but we gave time to the team and when you do have time with talented players, they can show in one play and they can change the game and today it was that situation.”
