Marcus Rashford is deservedly receiving high praise for his fantastic form for Manchester United. New signings Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro have also been lauded for their contributions too.
A player whose performances and outstanding efforts have been slipping under the radar, is Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes has been a key player for United, while he hasn’t been delivering man of the match performances on a weekly basis, that’s usually Rashford or Casemiro, Fernandes is another key cog in the United midfield.
He has been captaining the side in Harry Maguire’s absence too. Fernandes has been regularly chipping in with goal contributions over the past month, second only to Rashford.

Bruno Fernandes form is flying
Over the past eight games in all competitions, Bruno Fernandes has seven goal contributions.
These include three goals (versus Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest) and four assists (versus Wolves, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Reading).
This takes Fernandes up to six goals and seven assists for the season. This recent stretch of form was due for Fernandes.
He had been regularly creating chances, yet, his teammates had fluffed their lines in front of goal. Now it is beginning to click and Fernandes is enjoying the luck which evaded him before the season.
Fernandes picked up form at the World Cup, where he was named by one statistical outlet as the best player in Qatar.
This form is what United want to see from Fernandes. He has proved before that he is capable of impacting games on a regular basis, and he is getting back to his best.
Is this just a coincidence that it is happening now Cristiano Ronaldo has left the club? Perhaps. Fernandes’ best performances over the past year frequently came without the departed star.
This past week saw Fernandes celebrate three years as a Manchester United player since his 2020 move from Sporting.
His outstanding individual form has not been rewarded with silverware, just yet. With Erik ten Hag in charge, Manchester United appear to have a strong chance of clinching a trophy this season.
Fernandes will have a key part to play in this, especially if he keeps up this outstanding form.
