Cristiano Ronaldo was not in training for Manchester United on Monday as the rest of the club’s international players returned.
This is the second week of training under Erik ten Hag, and for many key players, today was their first day being coached by the Dutchman.
Manchester United have released new images of the latest training session, with Bruno Fernandes among those making their returns to Carrington.

Also pictured in the background of the picture above are Fred and Alex Telles, and Rapahel Varane and Diogo Dalot, who all also enjoyed their first training session under Erik ten Hag.
Harry Maguire was also among the players pictured returning after his summer break, in which he married his partner. Scott McTominay was also part of the returning group.

New manager Erik ten Hag was pictured on the grass with coaches Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren.

Facundo Pellistri also among returning players
Uruguayan winger Facundo Pellistri was also making his return to Carrington for the first time in a year, after a loan spell in Spain. He is hoping to win a place in Erik ten Hag’s squad.
Another returning loanee was James Garner. The midfielder was also back in training with the first team group.
