Jadon Sancho scored an important goal for Manchester United on the final day of the season.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided an encouraging injury update on Antony ahead of the FA Cup final.

But it may not matter too much, with Jadon Sancho doing a fantastic job on the right wing in his absence.

Sancho scored in United’s final day victory over Fulham, also creating two chances. He is enjoying his football and hitting form at a good time.

Jadon Sancho praised

Jadon Sancho is looking confident again and this is notable considering the journey he has been on this season.

Erik ten Hag still believes in him saying he wants Sancho to use this to kick on and get even better in 2023/24.

There was praise too from his teammates. Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho responded to his Instagram post, as did coach Benni McCarthy.

A report earlier this year in The Mirror reported Sancho had requested to do individual training work with McCarthy, who has already worked wonders with Marcus Rashford.

Sancho could now be set for a crucial starting role at Wembley, against his former club. It would be a great story if he could make a decisive impact.

Having the support of his teammates will lift his confidence. It looks like we are beginning to see glimpses of the real Jadon Sancho at last.
