Manchester United legend Roy Keane has been hailed as the No 1 celebrity from Cork after one superstar actor admitted they are a big fan of him.
Roy Keane, who hails from the city of Cork in the Republic of Ireland, is widely regarded as one of the best captains and midfielders of all time.
The former Manchester United star has been known to speak highly of his roots, including his love for fellow Corkman and club legend Denis Irwin.
Keane enjoyed an incredible playing career at Old Trafford and excelled in the captaincy role under legendary former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 52-year-old Irishman lifted a whopping seven Premier League titles with United, as well as captaining the Red Devils to a famous continental treble win in 1999.
Following his legendary playing career, Keane worked in coaching and has not managed a side since his ill-fated spell with Ipswich Town came to an end in 2011.
However, the Irish hardman has remained an ever-present figure in the world of football and Keane has since become a leading face on punditry for Sky Sports.

Keane lived in England after his playing career took off, but the former United skipper still holds a special place in his heart for his native homeland.
The former Republic of Ireland international admitted that he still makes trips back to Cork and spends a “few days” there “every three weeks.”
Speaking to Off the Ball in 2022, Keane said: “I definitely get back every three weeks for a few days.
“There’s always reasons to get back and I’m very lucky with the work I’ve got a bit of freedom and I can kind of duck and dive and get back to Ireland whenever I please, which is quite regular.”
