Marcus Rashford continued his incredible run of form to score the winner in the Manchester derby.
Rashford netted the winner after a pass from Alejandro Garnacho, to send Old Trafford wild.
This was United’s first league win over City since 2021, the first at Old Trafford since 2020.
Rashford has scored in nine consecutive matches at Old Trafford, equalling a record set by Dennis Viollet back in 1959.

Benni McCarthy hails Rashford
Rashford has looked resurgent this season under new manager Erik ten Hag. The player himself deserves credit to, as does new striker coach Benni McCarthy.
McCarthy was delighted to see Rashford net the derby winner, and urged him not to ease up.

Rashford now has 16 goals for Manchester United this season. He is on course to surpass his personal best tally of 22.
He also has six assists to his name, trailing only Christian Eriksen.
While this incredible form will inevitably hit a lull at some stage, it’s great to see right now, and Rashford will be determined for it to continue as long as possible.
