Benjamin Sesko sends passionate ‘no fear’ message after Man United beat Chelsea 2-1

Manchester United picked up a much-needed three points at Old Trafford by beating Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League.

The club’s worst-ever start to a Premier League season piled huge pressure on Ruben Amorim heading into Sunday afternoon’s clash against Chelsea.

Amorim demanded aggression from his players and they responded by making a quick start against Enzo Maresca’s side.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring after Robert Sanchez was shown a red card early on. Casemiro doubled United’s lead with a close-range header before receiving a second yellow card and following Sanchez down the tunnel.

Benjamin Sesko made his first Old Trafford start, but unfortunately, his game was cut short when he was replaced at half-time to fill the void left by Casemiro’s dismissal.

It has been a challenging start for Sesko at United, and the 22-year-old is still yet to open his goalscoring account despite showing glimpses of promise in his performances so far.

But the most important thing was for United to get points on the board, and Benjamin Sesko was quick to celebrate the win over Chelsea on social media.

“Fighting all together, no fear. Old Trafford buzzing, one mission. Keep going! Come on, Man United,” Sesko said.

The post was liked by several United teammates including Fernandes, Bryan Mbeumo, Mason Mount and Matthijs de Ligt.

Mbeumo also posted a reply to Sesko’s message, sending heart emojis to the Slovenian striker.

Benjamin Sesko can thrive in next two matches

Sesko had to wait patiently for minutes after arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer, but he has now worked his way into Amorim’s starting XI after settling down in Manchester.

His wait for a goal goes on, but Sesko has impressed his teammates and it’s only a matter of time until he gets going in a red shirt.

Amorim emphasised that United must use the Chelsea win and build some momentum, and Sesko will be licking his lips at the upcoming fixtures.

United have navigated an extremely tough start in the Premier League with matches against Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea now out of the way.
