Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has dropped huge praise on one important first-team player under Michael Carrick at Old Trafford this season.

Benjamin Sesko is on the verge of closing out his debut campaign at Manchester United after his big-money move from German side RB Leipzig last summer.

The 22-year-old Slovenian forward has taken his goalscoring tally to double digits, with Sesko netting 12 times in 32 appearances across all competitions for United.

Sesko has been in a strong run of form since January after scoring seven times in 13 Premier League matches under interim Red Devils head coach Michael Carrick.

The 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder has netted five times in 15 Premier League matches under Carrick after Ruben Amorim was axed from Manchester United.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Sesko was asked who the hardest trainer is outside of himself and the former RB Leipzig striker singled out United teammate Casemiro.

“It’s really a lot of guys,” he said.

Casemiro received an incredible reception from Man Utd fans on his final appearance at Old Trafford after the Red Devils’ 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

The five-time Champions League winner is expected to start in the Red Devils’ final Premier League match of the season against Brighton at the Amex.
