BBC Sport pundit and former Premier League striker Chris Sutton believes that West Ham United will beat Manchester United this weekend.
Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have suffered 12 defeats in all competitions this season and take on David Moyes’ West Ham United who have had a solid season so far.
The Hammers won the UEFA Conference League last season after a 2-1 win over Fiorentina, who had Sofyan Amrabat featuring in midfield for the Italian side and the Moroccan looked up to the task against Declan Rice.
Despite this, Amrabat and United have struggled this season and another defeat at the London Stadium would pile the pressure back on the Dutchman.

Sutton’s prediction
One pundit who believes United may struggle at the London Stadium is former Norwich City striker Chris Sutton who thinks David Moyes will get one over his former employers.
Sutton believes the Hammers will pull off a 2-1 victory at the London Stadium, if this were to be the case then Ten Hag would be right back under pressure after a brief period of respite following the goalless draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
“Manchester United parked the bus at Anfield, so will they do that here too? I don’t think so,” Sutton said on BBC Sport. “I actually think West Ham will beat them, though. I often go for them to draw games, but I liked the way they went at Wolves.
“In contrast, I wasn’t impressed by Erik ten Hag’s side at all. They may celebrate their draw with Liverpool but United fans should not be carried away with the way they got it – that just sums up how far they have fallen.”
United’s need for victory
Heading into 2024, United need to pick up results fast otherwise they may slip further and further down the table. Their chances of Champions League qualification already look remote.
Christian Eriksen is back in the team and could be in the squad for the game at the London Stadium which would be a big boost for Ten Hag.
Bruno Fernandes will be back from suspension after missing the game at Anfield and United really missed his creativity from midfield.
A win over the Hammers is vital. A loss, however, is unthinkable.
