Ex-Red Devil Bastian Schweinsteiger has explained why he “loves watching” Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Alongside Facundo Pellistri, whose Uruguay side were also knocked out of the World Cup at the group stage, Eriksen returned to Manchester United training yesterday.

Following his earlier than anticipated return from Qatar due to Denmark’s underwhelming tournament, Eriksen could feature against Burnley in the Carabao Cup fourth-round tie in seven days time.
