Manchester United looks to keep dreams of a second successive FA Cup triumph alive on Friday.
After a dramatic third-round triumph on penalties over Arsenal, a straight-forward night will be on Ruben Amorim’s agenda.

Despite some impressive wins for Manchester United under Amorim, results are still in need of major improvements – following a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace most recently.
However, Friday is the first game in which United’s January transfer window business could actually make an impact.
Both Ayden Heaven and Patrick Dorgu were unveiled in front of Old Trafford last weekend and against Leicester, both could be in line for a debut. Now Amorim has broken his silence over the chances of this happening.

Whether Ayden Heaven and Patrick Dorgu will make their Manchester United debut
Ahead of the FA Cup clash, Amorim has been speaking to the press which was streamed live on MUTV.
In this, as expected, the potential debutants were a hot topic with Amorim quizzed over their chances of making their maiden appearances.
“We’ll see, you guys have to wait until tomorrow but they are ready to play and are two more solutions in this moment.”
Amorim was as cryptic as ever in telling reporters that they will find out his team selection tomorrow – but did confirm that both are ready to play.
It would be logical to assume both have a strong chance of playing considering the opposition level and both could fill positions with no natural option right now.
Heaven has become important with Lisandro Martinez’s injury, while the addition of Dorgu is something which solves the biggest hole in Amorim’s squad. Heaven could be set for a baptism of fire after being handed the No.26 shirt at United.
Ruben Amorim praises Patrick Dorgu’s versatility
United’s squad size has slowly been getting smaller recently, with Ineos’ winter transfer business furthering that goal of a clearout.
However, this means United have fewer players, particularly in offensive roles – which is where Dorgu’s versatility can come into play.
Dorgu can play on either side as a wing-back and likely also in the attacking inside forward positions. Now, Amorim has named Dorgu among his attacking options, praising his versatility.
“We need to find players to play in different positions. With Dorgu we have one more player who can play on both sides, but of course, it will take time and will not solve all the problems.”
This being said, Dorgu is left-footed and therefore we’d love to see him at left wing-back – but perhaps a Dante Plunkett debut is on the cards after he was in first-team training.
