Antony is now back in Manchester United training ahead of the FA Cup third round clash at home to Everton on Friday.
The winger missed last night’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth to kick off 2023 having started the 1-0 victory at Wolves on New Year’s Eve.
When asked why the Brazilian was not in his starting line-up, Ten Hag answered with just one word: “Injured.”
It seems that whatever the problem was is not that serious as he was pictured back on the training pitch by Sky Sports ahead of Friday’s game.

Antony back in training
In the absence of Antony, Bruno Fernandes started on the right hand side of midfield last night, with Donny van de Beek through the middle.
But the Dutchman’s return to the side did not even last 45 minutes as he went off injured just before the interval with a really nasty looking injury.
That bad injury news meant United needed a boost and they got one, which should allow Antony to come back into the side against the Toffees.
Ten Hag has gone strong in the Europa League and the EFL Cup this season and against Premier League opponents in the FA Cup, you would expect him to do the same.
That means there may be no let up for the players, some of them who looked shattered by the end of the game last night at the end of a busy festive period.
United are light on depth up front and need another forward before the end of the January transfer window, after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Journalist David Ornstein says United are just looking at loan deals with the potential sale of the club lingering in the background.
For the time being, United have to go with what they have and it would be great for Antony to start and get on the scoresheet on Friday.
