It’s uncertain whether club captain Antonio Valencia will play for the club again.
He has not featured since January 2, and United have chosen not to extend his contract which is set to expire in June [BBC]. Despite that, he’s not bitter about it.
Valencia has posted to Instagram in reaction to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being appointed as full time Manchester United manager.
His message was positive, and he has backed Solskjaer to lead United to success.
Valencia made his comeback from injury for Ecuador last week against USA.
Solskjaer has preferred Ashley Young at right-back, with Diogo Dalot the alternative.

Valencia’s performances this season when he did play were mixed, but to his credit, United kept a clean sheet in his last game against Newcastle.
It’s too late to rule him out of making a return completely, but it does seem like he is no longer being considered as a credible option.
He’s already been ruled out of tomorrow’s game against Watford, the MEN report, despite his international appearance.
At least he is preparing to exit in a classy manner, as his message to Solskjaer shows.
