Anthony Elanga is loving life at Nottingham Forest, following a move from Manchester United in the summer.

Erik ten Hag decided that Elanga would not be in his plans, which led to a £15m transfer to Premier League club Forest back in July.

The winger has been dazzling for them this season, putting in a fine array of performances for his new club.

It really is no surprise, he learned from some mightily fine talent at Manchester United.

Anthony Elanga the best player he’s ever played with

Speaking with the Mail Sport, Elanga spoke about how his spell at United has developed him as a player.

“I have learnt from arguably the best player in the world – Cristiano Ronaldo,” Elanga began.

“I have learnt from Bruno Fernandes, Raphael Varane, Casemiro, I can go through the whole team because they are all world-class players not just what they do on the pitch but off the pitch as well with their discipline and how they look after themselves.”

But there’s one player who trumps all as the best he’s played alongside.

“I have to say Marcus Rashford is the best I have played with. He has got everything, speed, skill, shot, and finishing, the way he played last season was amazing. Off the field he is top, he helped me a lot coming through.”

Marcus Rashford is proving Anthony Elanga wrong this season…

A big compliment for Rashford from Elanga – to trump even Ronaldo as the best he’s ever played with is a remarkable feat, but the 25-year-old certainly isn’t showing it at the moment.

Rashford has been pretty hideous in red. He only has one goal and one assist in all his games this season.

Compared to the dizzying heights he achieved in last season’s campaign – this is entirely underwhelming.

Rashford needs to seriously step up.
