Andrey Santos’ best three games for Chelsea including a masterclass display vs Tottenham

Andrey Santos was not given many opportunities at Chelsea but he does have a handful of very impressive performances.

Manchester United have struck a £48m agreement to sign Andrey Santos from Chelsea, and he is set to undergo a medical and finalise the move imminently.

United have timed the Santos deal perfectly, and at 22 years old, he makes the move to Old Trafford as a very exciting prospect with high potential.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, Santos showed glimpses of his potential, and there are three performances that stand out.

Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham (19/05/2026)

One of Santos’ best performances came at the very end of the 2025/26 season when Chelsea beat London rivals Tottenham.

Santos played the full 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge in a midfield pivot alongside Moises Caicedo.

Not only did Santos score the winning goal for Chelsea, but his match stats prove he was flawless in and out of possession.

Another London rival, but this time Santos was on the losing side. However, Chelsea were drawing at the point when Santos was substituted at the 75th minute.

This time, Santos played in a three-man midfield alongside Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, and he thrived in a deeper role.

Wolves 3-4 Chelsea (29/10/2025)

In a dramatic seven-goal thriller, Santos was Chelsea’s best player against Wolves, recording a goal and an assist.

Santos scored from outside the box with his weak foot and was also brilliant defensively for the Blues.
