Manchester United youngster Amad has clinched a loan move to Sunderland.
This is Amad second loan of his career, following a stint at Rangers in the second half of last season. He had been scheduled to join Feyenoord last season before injury prevented the move from going ahead.
The loan is a chance for Amad to adjust further to English football, joining Manchester United loanees Hannibal, Ethan Laird and Alvaro Fernandez by signing on loan for a Championship club.
This appears to be clear strategy from United to better prepare the young players for future first team opportunities.

Amad speaks out
Amad told Sunderland’s website he is optimistic about the loan move and feels he has chosen well.
Sunderland currently sit 12th in the Championship after seven games, having been promoted from League One last season.
Amad said: “I feel good and very positive about this opportunity, so I’m happy to be here.
“It was a great experience to play with Manchester United, but I’m here for a new challenge and I want to try my best to bring a lot of success to the club.
“I feel good physically and I think this is the best team for me to progress and although I’ve never been to the Stadium of Light before, I know the supporters are great so I hope we can win many games together.”
Amad provided an assist against Liverpool in pre-season and scored against Rayo Vallecano.
But he was not involved in Erik ten Hag’s Premier League squads, and needs to go out on loan and impress, especially with new signing Antony coming in.
United fans still have high hopes Amad can be a success, he’s still young, and has bags of potential. He has a first team goal in the Europa League and an assist in the Premier League to his name too.
This loan can be a stepping stone for him, and it’s an opportunity he must make the most of.
