Manchester United youngster Amad is keeping supporters up to date with his injury recovery.
The Ivory Coast international suffered an injury in pre-season against Arsenal and has been on the sidelines since.
This brought an abrupt end to the uncertainty of whether he would be kept by Erik ten Hag, or sent on loan. He is by default, sticking around to recover.
If he can make a return before January, he could get a chance to push for a place in the United side.

He is pictured at Carrington wearing a United training top, and it’s clear he feels he is gradually moving closer towards a return.

MORE UNITED STORIES
Amad has proven ability
Amad spent last season out on loan at Sunderland and impressed, scoring 14 goals. He was recently voted the Championship’s PFA Fans Player of the Year.
The talented young playmaker has also shown an ability to conjure up magic in a Manchester United shirt too.
He has a goal in the Europa League at Old Trafford against AC Milan, and he also has a Premier League assist on his record, against Leicester City.
What Amad needs, is an opportunity. And with Antony struggling for form and also having off-field issues, many United supporters would like to see the youngster get a chance.
To do so, he must prove his fitness. Premier Injuries currently project ‘no return date’, with United not releasing the exact details of his knee injury.
United’s statement in early August simply read that Amad has “been ruled out of the first part of the 2023/24 campaign.”
Hopefully his optimistic message indicates he is making good progress, and we might see him before the end of 2023.
