Manchester United forward Amad Diallo has heaped praise on Erik ten Hag in a recent interview with United Review.
Amad Diallo was handed a 40-minute cameo from the bench during the defeat against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground as Manchester United slumped to their 14th defeat of the season.
Despite the loss, and the manner in which they succumbed to the East Midlands side, perhaps the only positive on the night was the performance of Amad, who had been out injured for the entire season.
Antony was struggling in the East Midlands and was replaced early on and the class and potential on show from the Ivorian drew praise from Erik ten Hag.

Amad on Ten Hag
Speaking to the United website, the former Atalanta winger was full of praise for Ten Hag and believes the Dutchman trusts him due to the length of his cameo at the City Ground.
“I thought I would maybe play for the last 10 or 15 minutes [vs Forest] because I was coming back from an injury,” Amad revealed, “but the fact that he [Ten Hag] brought me on at that moment meant that the coach trusted me, and I was really happy to have played in that match.”
The pressure has been building on Ten Hag in recent weeks with the defeats mounting up and the club slipping further and further down the Premier League table.
Despite the external pressure from fans and pundits, Amad has been full of praise for the Dutchman and believes his no-nonsense style has helped him.
“He is a person who wants to work hard; even in training and when you’re going slowly, he calls you over and tells you to go stronger,” Amad said. “I like coaches like that, that let you know that you need to train hard.”
Amad needs opportunities
The Ivorian may only have played 40 minutes for the Red Devils this season but the winger has already proven that he can offer more to the team than Antony.
Former Ajax winger Antony has struggled hugely this season and has failed to contribute a goal or an assist throughout the entirety of the Premier League season.
Amad deserves a run of games in the second half of the season, to illustrate he can provide a superior option.
