Amad Diallo put pen to paper to sign a new deal at Manchester United this week after a lengthy spell of negotiations.
The Ivory Coast international has been a silver lining for Manchester United in a difficult season, but his performances have not gone unnoticed.
Ruben Amorim has made Amad Diallo a key figure in his starting line-up, despite the fact he was regularly overlooked by Erik ten Hag.
Amad scored an important last-gasp equaliser against Premier League leaders Liverpool last weekend. He also made history by scoring a memorable 90-minute winner against Manchester City in December.
Now, Amad intends to make more history at United with his new contract. The sky is the limit for the Ivorian.

Amad is a model professional on and off the pitch.
Fans have quickly noticed the winger’s work-rate on top of his goalscoring contributions, but he also speaks very well, like a true United player.
Amad’s desire to play for United has always been clear to see.
After signing a five-year deal at Old Trafford, Amad was asked about his next outing, which will be his 50th appearance for United. He made his intentions clear to stay at United for the rest of his life.
“It means a lot for me because I love this club. Every time I pull on the jersey, I’m so proud,” Amad told MUTV.
“Every time I’m on the pitch, I want to fight for this club, and I’m so happy to be here for a long time.”
From being considered a squad player to becoming one of the first names on the team sheet, Amad added: “First thing, you have to believe. I will always believe in myself.
“I work very hard to achieve a lot of things with this club. Today, I’m so happy to extend for five more years.
“I want to be here for a long, long, long time. Not just five more years, but maybe for all my life.”

Every United player is being tasked with learning a new system under Amorim.
Amad has played several different roles since the arrival of the Portuguese coach, including right wing-back and as a No. 10.

The 23-year-old has proved that he is ready for the big stage and now is anticipating success under Amorim as they learn his preferred system.
“Yeah, we learn every day. We learn, you know, it’s a new system for everyone. At the beginning it was not easy, but I think now the team is starting to understand the system a little bit more.
“The manager and the staff are, every day, at the training ground to help us, to understand more of the system.
“We are very happy to have them and we want to follow them for the system, because we know at the end we will have success.”
