Amad Diallo has made his feelings perfectly clear after his brief cameo appearance for Manchester United in the 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
Manchester United had to settle for a single point from their trip to Istanbul on Thursday evening, despite taking the lead in the first half in Turkey.
Erik ten Hag’s men took control of the Europa League tie after Christian Eriksen opened the scoring in the 15th minute, with United defending superbly well.
However, Christian Eriksen’s hard work and United’s excellent first-half defensive display would be undone in the second half at Fenerbahce’s stadium.
Youssef En-Nesyri scored the all-important equaliser for Jose Mourinho’s men only four minutes after the break, with United unable to re-establish their lead.
United have picked up three consecutive draws under Erik ten Hag in the Europa League since the start of their European campaign in September.

Diallo’s message to Man Utd fans
Amad Diallo only managed a brief cameo display for Manchester United after an injury to Antony in the second half of the 1-1 Europa League draw.
Erik ten Hag had rolled the dice and brought on Antony for Marcus Rashford in the 73rd minute against Fenerbahce, with Diallo left on the bench.
However, Antony endured a nightmare night in Turkey after the United winger went down clutching his half and was stretchered off only 16 minutes into his appearance.
Diallo climbed off the bench and replaced the 24-year-old Brazilian winger and saw out the remainder of the Fenerbahce clash on Thursday evening.
The 22-year-old Ivorian winger took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and sent out a heartfelt message after his cameo against Fenerbahce.
“Fans. Thanks for the support,” Diallo wrote to his followers, adding a series of different emojis to his tweet.
Man Utd boss Ten Hag on Antony injury
Diallo was left as an unused substitute for United’s last two Premier League matches and the Ivorian attacker has been unable to re-establish himself in the starting XI.
The Ivory Coast international impressed during United’s pre-season tour and Diallo has made 11 appearances for the Red Devils in the 2024-25 campaign.
Speaking after the Fenerbahce clash, United manager Ten Hag admitted his disappointment over the injury blow to Antony in the Europa League.
“It’s really unlucky for him,” he told MUTV in his post-match interview, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“I feel real compassion for him, when he worked so hard in training.
“His training performances are that good that he deserved to come on. When you have to come off so quickly, that is really sad to see.
“Hopefully, it’s not too bad, we have to wait 24 hours for what the assessment is.”
