Manchester United full-back Alex Telles looks set to make his second start for Brazil after Alex Sandro tested positive for Covid-19.
Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport has confirmed that the Juventus left-back has tested positive for the virus.
With Sandro ruled out, Telles will be hoping to capitalise and start the World Cup qualifier against Paraguay.
Telles was an unused substitute in Thursday’s 1-1 draw at Ecuador as Sandro played the full 90 minutes.

After making his debut for the Selecao three years ago in a friendly against Panama, the former Porto man is yet to make a competitive start for his nation.
The 29-year-old’s three other caps under Brazil manager Tite have been substitute appearances in the current South American World Cup qualifying campaign. He hasn’t played for the nation side since November 2020.
After becoming a key part of Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United side, Telles will be hoping to impress Tite in his quest to gain a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad.
As well as competing with Sandro for the left-back spot, Telles is up against Atletico Madrid’s Renan Lodi for a place at Qatar.
Will Fred and Alex Telles feature against Middlesbrough

With the Brazilian duo playing in the early hours of Wednesday morning, it would be a surprise to see the pair feature in Friday night’s FA Cup clash against Middlesbrough.
On the two occasions that Fred has played for Brazil during this campaign, the 28-year-old hasn’t featured in either of the Manchester United games that immediately followed the international break.

Edinson Cavani and Facundo Pellistri’s Uruguay will be hoping to make it two wins from two when they host Venezuela, who sit bottom of the CONMEBOL table, tonight.
Despite playing 24 hours earlier than Telles and Fred, it would be a surprise to see Cavani feature against Chris Wilder’s side.
The trio are more likely to return on Tuesday night when we travel to Burnley.
