There was no sign of injured duo Raphael Varane or Scott McTominay in the images released by Manchester United.

Both players are making progress with their returns, according to Erik ten Hag, who said last week Varane was the closer of the two.

Varane was pictured in training gear behind the scenes at Carrington yesterday.

Alejandro Garnacho (top) was pictured in training as he sharpens up. He was in the squad against West Ham although did not make it on.

United could look to him to provide a spark against Wolves, amid a flailing attack with just three goals in the last six games.

Youngster Zidane Iqbal was also involved as he patiently waits for an opportunity which has not yet been forthcoming so far this season.
