Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho is ready to get his pre-season started.

2023/24 was a marathon for Alejandro Garnacho, in the best way possible. The Argentine wonderkid played 50 club games in total, establishing himself as a regular starter.

The teenager ended it spectacularly, scoring in the FA Cup Final win, before going on to represent Argentina at the Copa America.

While Garnacho started just one game at the tournament, he was there right through to the final on July 15, and so he did not travel with Manchester United on the USA tour.

Alejandro Garnacho back in Manchester

Alejandro Garnacho has been enjoying a well-earned break after his busy season. Now, he is turning his attention to 2024/25.

Garnacho has posted an image on a private jet, titled: “Back home ! 🛩️❤️ Can’t wait to be back with the team! “

Teammate Amad responded with a simple message, ‘He’s coming’, expressing his excitement to see Garnacho soon.

Garnacho will stay at Carrington

Don’t expect Alejandro Garnacho to jet out to the USA for Manchester United’s final tour game against Liverpool.

There’s no time or need for that. United play Liverpool in the early hours of Sunday, and once that game is done, the tour concludes, and the squad will return to Manchester.

Garnacho will see the players next week, when preparations begin for the 2024 Community Shield.

He may have to settle for a place on the bench in that game at Wembley, with players more likely to start who have enjoyed a full pre-season.

Amad is quite the fan of Garnacho, meanwhile. Last week after seeing him model the new blue away kit, he tipped his teammate for to contribute 30 goals and assists combined this coming season.
