Alejandro Garnacho gives Manuel Ugarte verdict after Man Utd arrival, Facundo Pellistri agrees

Manuel Ugarte is officially a Manchester United player, with the Uruguayan likely the last signing of Erik ten Hag’s summer spending spree.

Ugarte was confirmed to have joined Manchester United on Friday night – after what seemed like a lifetime of waiting.

Ugarte himself acknowledged this in his first United words, but all that matters is that the deal is done. Now, he will link up with his Manchester United teammates and hopefully will be in the squad for Sunday’s clash against Liverpool.

His new teammates will likely welcome him with open arms – with a competent holding midfielder a necessity given the opening couple of fixtures.

This includes Alejandro Garnacho – who gave Ugarte a warm Manchester United welcome on social media.

Despite the usual tension between Argentina and Uruguay natives – Garnacho has welcomed Ugarte with open arms on Instagram.

Manchester United took to the social media platform to announce his arrival, with the post stating: ‘@UgarteManu is UNITED!’

Garnacho took the time to respond to this, with the message:’ Vamoooos!! Bienvenido’, which translates to ‘Let’s goooo!! Welcome’.

Former Red Devil, and fellow countryman of Ugarte, Facundo Pellistri also took to the comments. He shared the same excitement for the 23-year-old joining.

Pellistri who has enjoyed a fine start at his new club, will be gutted not to be playing club football with the midfielder.
