Erik ten Hag made a huge impression during his time at Ajax, leading the club to four consecutive first place finishes.
His departure has left a void which new boss Alfred Schreuder is attempting to fill. One of his current players has this week been talking up Ten Hag in a new interview.
Ajax midfielder Kenneth Taylor hailed Ten Hag, quoted by FC Update in a new magazine interview with ELF Voetbal.
Taylor was handed his Ajax first debut by Ten Hag, one of 23 players to be brought through at Ajax under the manager.

Ten Hag ‘one of the best’
Taylor said: “I got all the meetings and analysis. And on the training field of course. He has a plan for everything.
“Tactically, I think he is one of the best coaches in the world.”
Manchester United saw a taster of Ten Hag’s savvy management in the team’s win over Liverpool earlier this week.
Ten Hag made a number of big selection calls, and ensured the team approached the match with the right mindset.
The opening two games of the season showed he still has plenty to adjust to in the Premier League, but Monday’s win suggests he can be a quick learner.
There has been a lot of criticism of Ten Hag in the media in the opening month, barely justified. Given time, he will prove his doubters wrong.
Taylor’s comments highlight how Ajax’s players admired him greatly, and Manchester United’s players will grow to feel the same way, if they don’t already.
It also shows why Lisandro Martinez was so eager to leave Ajax to rejoin Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford, and why Antony is reported to be so desperate to join up too.
