To pour salt onto Ruben Amorim’s wounds, Wan-Bissaka shone at Old Trafford, assisting one goal and playing a big part in the other.
He’s now shown his true colours with a Man Utd message after leading the Hammers to a win at Old Trafford.

Wan-Bissaka had a special skill set which endeared him to Man Utd fans but the same skill set also made his suitability to an attacking set-up questionable.
Granted, he’s thriving now in a back-three system as wing-back but the pressure of playing for Man Utd is different.
Still, his sale was contentious even when it was made, and he remains one of the players who left the club on good terms and as a fan favourite.
That was reflected in his message after West Ham’s win, as he posted a thankful message to Man Utd fans on Instagram with four pictures of himself in action.
He said: “Big W.Thanks for the warm reception today OT.”
United academy right-back Habeeb Ogunneye replied with a fire emoji while former Red Devil Dio McGhee responded with a cold face emoji.

Wan-Bissaka might be loving life at West Ham but it doesn’t mean that United will look at him with the feeling of “one that got away”.
Noussair Mazraoui was effectively his replacement, a younger and more versatile player who signed on a long-term contract and is impressing greatly.
Furthermore, his departure allowed Diogo Dalot to become the main man at the club, a role he has flourished in with his model professionalism and versatility.
It is a transfer that has worked out best for all parties involved. Wan-Bissaka thriving at a new club, United getting a player more suited to their system, West Ham got a reliable player while United cashed in on a player in the last year of his contract.
Amidst it all, his relationship with the fans remains positive as well. A bona fide win for everyone.
