Manchester United have beaten Leicester City in the Premier League, in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s final game as Red Devils boss.
It was a solid performance from Manchester United, beating Leicester 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
United has some standout performers vs the Foxes. Captain Bruno Fernandes was excellent, and will rightly steal the headlines, but credit also goes to an unsung hero in Manuel Ugarte, he was excellent today.
He reflected on the win after the fixture, with some wise words after arguably his finest performance in a red shirt.

Manuel Ugarte sends message as Manchester United beat Leicester
The Uruguayan midfielder took to Instagram after the win to send the following message.
Ugarte wrote: Necessary win. Thank you all for your support at home. Let’s keep it going. This is Old Trafford.
The former PSG man was electric all game, and showed why Manchester United spent big bucks on him.
United fans love Ugarte’s performance vs Leicester, and if he can keep this form up, he’ll become a firm fan favourite under Ruben Amorim in no time.
Alejandro Garnacho praises Manuel Ugarte
Alongside fan praise, Ugarte was also recognised by Manchester United teamate Alejandro Garnacho for his efforts against Steve Cooper’s side.
Replying to his Instagram post, Garnacho stated: ‘Qué jugador hermano,’ which translates to ‘what a player brother’.

Harry Maguire also commented, with ‘love it’, and they’ll likely be many more responses as the day goes on.
