Manchester United sit bottom of their Champions League group after a 4-3 loss to Copenhagen on match-day four, as Rasmus Hojlund impressed.
After taking a 2-0 lead in the first half, Manchester United probably thought they were high and dry with all three points. The referee had other ideas, however, changing the dynamic of the game with a red card for Marcus Rashford.
From here, United still should’ve won, but ultimately a series of poor decisions on the field saw United lose 4-3 and sit on the brink of exit from the competition.
VAR may have played a big role, but United and Erik ten Hag have nobody to blame but themselves. In defeat, however, once again there was just one positive for the English giants. Rasmus Hojlund, who managed to bag a brace.

Scholes on Hojlund
Speaking at half-time during the United Champions League game, Paul Scholes was full of praise in reviewing Rasmus Hojlund’s first-half brace on TNT Sport.
“That proves in that one little second that if United give him chances, he will score goals.”
This is in relation to Hojlund’s movement in managing to get himself to the ball for both of his goals against Copenhagen.
Hojlund now has five Champions League goals in just four games and will be fuming that his teammates let him down.
Time for a Premier League goal
United’s £85k-per-week striker has five in the Champions League, but still has yet to grab his first in domestic football.
This Saturday could be the perfect time to change that though with Luton Town the visitors to Old Trafford.
Among the league’s worst sides, United should really be dominating against Luton which could see Hojlund with an abundance of chances.
Hojlund would welcome that greatly and will be hopeful of adding to his tally this season with some goals in the league. Fingers crossed.
