Manchester United supporters have named their man of the match following a hard fought 1-0 victory over Burnley.
Erik ten Hag‘s side won the game 1-0 after withstanding an early Burnley onslaught which had Andre Onana in action.
Manchester United took the lead late in the first-half with captain Bruno Fernandes striking with a wonderful volley into the bottom corner.
He caught it beautifully first-time after Jonny Evans’ long ball which had pin-point accuracy.
The win for United is massive and ends a terrible run of three losses, it will hopefully be a catalyst some consecutive victories now.

Man of the match vote
Manchester United supporters voted for the man of the match award via the club app and website, and there was one clear winner in a three horse race, Bruno Fernandes.
Here is a look at how the vote broke down…
- Bruno Fernandes: 52 per cent
- Jonny Evans: 27 per cent
- Hannibal Mejbri: 11 per cent
- All others had three per cent or less.
Bruno scored the games only goal and led by example with countless top quality passes and led from the front with his pressing and orders. He made two key passes as he consistently had the chance to set Rashford through on goal. An all-round really solid display from Fernandes, but the best part was definitely his goal.
Bruno on the teams performance
Speaking post game to TNT Sports, Fernandes said: “With the performance we sacrificed a lot because Burnley played great football and have great qualities.
I think the points they have don’t show the quality they have because it’s really tough to play against them.
“So it’s not just an easy win here – we’re really happy for the points and hopefully it will give us strength for the rest.”
A quality win which will be a huge confidence booster for United going forward.
