Manchester United knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup with an extra-time winner at Old Trafford.
These are special moments. Yes, Manchester United now need to go on and win the FA Cup, but this win will last long in the memory.
Erik ten Hag‘s side came from behind twice to beat Liverpool 4-3, and set up a semi-final against Coventry City at Wembley.
Amad scored a dramatic winner, with Scott McTominay, Antony and Marcus Rashford all also on the scoresheet.

Manchester United fans name man of the match
There were huge contributions all over the pitch for Manchester United, which made it difficult to pick a man of the match.
Supporters tried their best to sort through it all, voting for the award via the club app, and it was very close. Here is a look at how the results broke down…
- Amad: 27 per cent
- Alejandro Garnacho: 26 per cent
- Scott McTominay: 10 per cent
- Marcus Rashford: 8 per cent
- Kobbie Mainoo: 8 per cent
- All other players seven per cent or fewer
Amad came on as a second half substitute and benefitted from the game going to extra-time.
His goal was terrific, winning the ball back on the edge of his own box, executing a perfect counter-attack with Alejandro Garnacho.
He was actually suspended in the ensuing celebration for picking up a second yellow card, and will serve a one-game suspension in the Premier League against Brentford.
Amad thrilled with big moment
This was the biggest moment of Amad’s Manchester United career to date, and his first goal for the club since 2021.
Speaking after the game, he said: “I am here to dream every moment.
“Every moment is like a dream. In the training, in the pitch, every year is a friend for me. I am very happy to score today.”
