Manchester United supporters have named the team’s man of the match after an eventful 2-2 draw at home to Leeds.
The hosts conceded goals early in both halves to slip to a 2-0 deficit. A draw at that stage seemed like a decent result, but after equalising by the 70th minute, it was disappointing not to grab all three.
This was two dropped points for Manchester United at home to a relegation battling side.
There were positives to take from the draw, with Jadon Sancho‘s first goal since his return being the highlight of the night.

Man of the match v Leeds
Manchester United supporters voted for the man of the match via the club website. The results are below.
- Jadon Sancho: 33 per cent
- Marcus Rashford: 30 per cent
- Lisandro Martinez: 17 per cent
- All other players fewer than six per cent
Sancho’s goal came on just his second appearance of 2023, after a spell out of the side to get back to the top of his game. He has made an encouraging start.
The winger was praised after the game by manager Erik ten Hag, who told the club website: ” I am happy for him, it will encourage him and will motivate him further on.
“He is in the right direction. If he keeps going in this process, works hard, he can do even more and he can really help us achieve our goals. Everyone is happy for him. We need him, he can contribute, he can create.”
Sancho has shown enough to earn a start in United’s next game, against the same opponents.
The match at Elland Road has become even more important after these dropped points, and Erik ten Hag will be even more determined to bounce back with a victory.
