Manchester United fans have voted for the man of the match after an impressive comeback win over Aston Villa.
It was not looking too good for Manchester United after 26 minutes against Aston Villa. The team went 2-0 down, and you wondered if another embarrassing night was in store.
However, Manchester United do not lose on Boxing Day, coming back to win 3-2 with all three goals scored in the second half.
Alejandro Garnacho scored twice and Rasmus Hojlund once, the latter netting his first Premier League goal.

Manchester United fans vote man of the match
Manchester United supporters were asked to name the man of the match via the club website and app.
Here is a look at how votes broke down…
- Alejandro Garnacho: 80 per cent
- Rasmus Hojlund: 10 per cent
- Bruno Fernandes: 3 per cent
- All other players two per cent or less
Fully deserved
Alejandro Garnacho was fully deserving of his man of the match award, scoring twice, and could even have had a hat-trick.
Rasmus Hojlund’s winner alone could have won him the award on another night. It was a game he won’t ever forget.
United are lucky to have them both. Garnacho is 19, Hojlund is 20. If they get the right support, on and off the pitch, these two could become major players for the club over the next few years.
