Manchester United’s post-season tour kicked off on Wednesday against ASEAN All-Stars.
Ruben Amorim and his team took on an all-star team comprised of players from clubs across Southeast Asia in an exhibition game with a trophy on the line, losing 1-0.
Amorim made the most of his 32-player Manchester United squad, which saw some exciting talents get minutes and some very impressive performances.
Sekou Kone and Shea Lacey were among the best performers for United despite both only making brief first-half cameos.
Ultimately, United didn’t look up for the game, with effort levels low from the star names. But it will have been a fun day out for the fans, with the scoreline not mattering at all.
Amorim won’t be pleased with how his senior players performed and will demand better on Friday.
