Amad Diallo has admitted that one of his Manchester United teammates is a “model” in his eyes and he likes the way he “arrives to training.”
The 22-year-old Manchester United winger has impressed in the 2024-25 campaign and Amad Diallo has been one of the standout performers at Old Trafford.
Amad was in superb form during the pre-season tour in the summer, but the Ivorian attacker struggled to establish a regular place in the starting XI under Erik ten Hag.
However, former United manager Erik ten Hag was sacked in late October and Amad had his moment to shine under Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ruben Amorim.
The 22-year-old Ivory Coast international has now become a key player for United manager Ruben Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag in the Old Trafford dugout.
Amorim has tweaked Amad to play as a wing-back in his 3-4-2-1 formation and the United star has excelled under the 39-year-old Portuguese manager so far.
Amad produced a show-stealing performance on the weekend and picked up two assists in United’s 4-0 demolition win over Everton at Old Trafford.

Diallo singles out Man Utd star
Speaking to Manchester United’s official media channels, Amad Diallo was asked to name the most fashionable member of the Red Devils’ first-team squad.
Amad didn’t hesitate to name Kobbie Mainoo and the United winger admitted that he likes the way the England star makes his arrival at the Carrington training complex.
“I like the way Kobbie arrives to training and the fashion week he goes to. He’s a model,” he said.
Amad revealed that he is not too bothered by his own fashion sense and said he likes to dress in a way that makes him “chilled and comfortable.”
“I’m a chill guy,” he explained.
“I don’t like to put on a lot of things. Every day when I come home, I’m chilled and comfortable.”
Man Utd star Mainoo’s fashion sense
Kobbie Mainoo was featured on the cover of GQ magazine last month alongside Chelsea and England star Cole Palmer.
The 19-year-old United midfielder had a breakout season at Old Trafford in the 2023-24 campaign and he opened up about rising through the youth academy ranks.
“I feel like at United it’s very much in the history that they play young players, going all the way back to the Busby Babes,” Mainoo told GQ.
“There’s big writing up on the wall [at Carrington, the training ground] saying, ‘If they’re good enough, they’re old enough.’”
