Patrick Dorgu appeared on the radar of Manchester United fans after the Red Devils star’s eye-opening display against Bournemouth in the pre-season friendly on Thursday.

The Red Devils resumed their pre-season tour in the United States after Manchester United’s stunning 2-1 win over West Ham at the MetLife Stadium last Sunday.

Ruben Amorim kicked off the first of their three Premier League Summer Series ties against the Hammers, with Bruno Fernandes netting a brace against West Ham.

Following United’s win over West Ham in East Rutherford last weekend, the Red Devils travelled to Illinois for the second tie of the Premier League Summer Series.

United and Bournemouth met at the Soldier Field in Chicago, with kick-off for the pre-season tour match taking place in the early hours of the morning in the UK.

Patrick Dorgu started the friendly match against Bournemouth in the left wing-back role of Ruben Amorim’s tactical system for United and the Dane was incredibly lively.

United broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes at the Soldier Field after an unmarked Rasmus Hojlund fired a header past Bournemouth’s Djordje Petrovic.

Dorgu played a stunning cross with his right foot into the Bournemouth box and an unmarked Rasmus Hojlund was able to help the ball along the way with his head.

The Red Devils would double their lead in the first half after Dorgu made an impact again, with the 20-year-old Danish left-back adding his name to the scoresheet.
