Man Utd fans all in full agreement about Casemiro after he was ‘absolutely everywhere’ in 2-1 Brentford win

Manchester United fans reacted to the Premier League display of Casemiro after the Red Devils’ encounter against Brentford at Old Trafford on Monday evening.

Michael Carrick watched Manchester United take the lead against Brentford in the first half after Casemiro headed home at the back post from a Harry Maguire assist.

Man Utd held a 2-0 advantage over Brentford at half-time after Benjamin Sesko slotted a superb strike into the far corner of Caoimhin Kelleher’s net at Old Trafford.

Michael Carrick’s men avoided a late comeback from Brentford after Mathias Jensen netted late in the second half and United walked away with all three points.

Casemiro appeared on the radar of Man Utd fans for what he did in the Premier League encounter vs Brentford

Posting in United In Focus’ TalkingPoints, Manchester United fans were so impressed with Casemiro’s performance against Brentford that they want him to stay beyond this season.

“Player of the Season behind Bruno [Fernandes],” a Man Utd fan claimed.

Another TalkingPoints user posted: “Everything about him [Casemiro] will be missed. He was absolutely everywhere today.”

“I don’t think anyone wouldn’t [hand a new contract extension]. Absolutely love the bloke,” a third Red Devils supporter said.

A fourth wrote: “Casemiro [for Man of the Match]. What a player. Going to be missed next season.”

Someone else commented: “Shame Case isn’t staying; gonna be a huge miss.”

“It’s such a shame [he is leaving]. He’s so, so good,” a sixth suggested.

Michael Carrick’s verdict on Casemiro after the Man Utd midfielder’s performance against Brentford

Speaking after Man Utd’s win on Monday, Michael Carrick wasted no time showing his admiration for Casemiro’s link-up play with Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.

“He’s scored some big goals for us,” he told BBC’s Match of the Day, as per BBC Sport.

“Bruno, Harry and Casemiro have a good relationship. We wanted to come out and start quick and look dangerous and creative and we did that.”

Brazil midfielder Casemiro will leave Old Trafford in the summer after his Man Utd contract expires at the end of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.
