Manchester United are back to winning ways in the Premier League, with a 2-1 win against Brentford easing some pressure on Erik ten Hag.
The Manchester United manager has his players to thank, with impressive performances across the pitch. Rasmus Hojlund thrived, as did Alejandro Garnacho and Casemiro was criminally underrated against the Bees.
Matthijs de Ligt was also solid against Thomas Frank’s side whilst Marcus Rashford looked back to his best.
A sentiment that Garnacho can also agree with.

Alejandro Garnacho loved Marcus Rashford’s assist vs Brentford
Rashford got the assist for Garnacho’s equaliser, and it was a Pirlo-esque ping that landed right at his teammate’s feet.
Rashford took to Instagram after the game to post a still image of the pass – with a caption of the ‘A’ emoji to accompany it.
It was a sublime assist from the English winger – which was dually noted by his Argentine teammate.
Garnacho took the time out to respond, with the 20-year-old goalscorer simply stating ‘thanks’ with lovestruck eyes and a series of other endearing emojis. He loved that one from Marcus.

Alan Shearer piles praise on Marcus Rashford’s assist for Manchester United
Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day, the Premier League’s all-time top goalscorer gave flowers to Rashford.
He singled out Rashford’s assist to Garnacho for the Red Devils equaliser as a particular wow moment in the fixture.
Shearer said: “You’re about to see an incredible cross. Yes, he’s got other options, but look at the cross here. He picks him out with perfection, and the finish, oh. Unbelievable goal. So many good things about that.”
The Brentford game boasted positive future signs, let’s just hope this can continue against West Ham at the London Stadium in a week’s time.
