Despite scoring twice, Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town offered little offence against Manchester United during Wednesday night’s game at Old Trafford.
United defeated Ipswich 3-2 in a dramatic clash which had it all from on-field conflict to goals and also a red card. It was a game fans of any club could have enjoyed – but for United supporters, it will have been pleasing with the win being pivotal.
United needed to beat Ipswich, with the Red Devils failing to win in three games prior. On a night when Rasmus Hojlund was awful for United in front of goal, it was the defence that stepped up to salvage the game and claim all three points.

Maguire will be here next season, but the aim for United will be to find a younger version to come in and do what Amorim loves Maguire for the long term.
