United linked Mario Lemina really wants a transfer

Well this is a different way of doing things. 24 hours after being linked to Manchester United, Mario Lemina is talking up a move on Twitter.

The Times claimed yesterday United have been given permission to talk to Lemina.

He has told Southampton he wants to leave, and has been left off their summer tour.

The Saints value him at £18 million, and Arsenal have also been linked.

Now Lemina has sent a tweet out saying he will fight to get his move.

He included a compilation, which was put together by United fan account United Daily – which he also thanked them for.

Lemina’s video of course showed some of his best bits, his ball winning qualities, which could make him a shrewd replacement in midfield for Ander Herrera.

At £18 million he would be a bargain, although there are concerns over his fitness issues. He started only 18 games last season due to injury.

He is a former teammate of Paul Pogba, and we delved into his past comments on the Frenchman yesterday.

It’s interesting to see a player approaching the transfer market differently, although we can appreciate what it would be like on the other foot.

Imagine the reaction if Paul Pogba or Romelu Lukaku put out a video like this amid their desire to leave United.

Here is a look at some of the responses to Lemina’s video…
