Borussia Dortmund could be Cristiano Ronaldo‘s last chance of leaving Manchester United this summer.
The 37-year-old’s representatives have made it clear that United’s number seven would like to join a Champions League club during the transfer window.
But despite being one of the greatest players of all time, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner hasn’t received the offer he desires and Manchester United have repeatedly stressed that our talisman is not for sale.

His agent Jorge Mendes continues to work tirelessly on securing his client a move away from Old Trafford last summer.
After all, the Portuguese captain didn’t secure his return to United from Juventus last summer until the end of August.
Borussia Dortmund could be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last chance of leaving Manchester United

According to CBS Sports, Ronaldo’s last chance of securing a move away from the Theatre of Dreams comes down to whether Dortmund want to sign the legendary marksman.
But Joel Glazer doesn’t want to lose Ronaldo due to the commercial value he brings.
The report from CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs states: “Ronaldo is open to a Dortmund move.
“Not only is Champions League football of appeal, but it gives him the opportunity to challenge for the Bundesliga and in doing so become the first player to win a domestic league title in England, Spain, Italy and Germany.
“Dortmund are still holding internal talks as to whether to make a late proposal to Manchester United with Mendes encouraging them to do so.
“Both a permanent deal and loan are being considered. Dortmund would like to add another forward after new signing Sebastien Haller was diagnosed with a testicular tumour and will miss several months.”

The report goes on to add that Dortmund is now viewed as Ronaldo’s ‘last option’ with two weeks of the summer transfer window remaining.
Ronaldo, who was United’s top scorer last season with 24 goals across all competitions, has less than one year left to run on his contract, but United do have the option of extending his deal by a further 12 months.
Ronaldo has reportedly turned down the opportunity to return to his boyhood club Sporting Lisbon who are in this season’s Champions League.
