Manchester United have officially unveiled two new signings, Tyler Fletcher and Jack Fletcher.

The teenage duo, 16, are twin sons of Manchester United technical director Darren Fletcher.

United had confirmed the deals a fortnight ago by including the pair on the squad list for under-18 and under-21 players for the 2023/24 season.

But this is the first time the duo have been pictured in Manchester United colours, with the duo sharing images from their unveiling on social media.

Tyler and Jack Fletcher sign

Tyler and Jack Fletcher were previously in Manchester City’s academy. Both players have made the decision to quit to join Manchester United.

The duo shared images on social media, with Tyler Fletcher writing: “Happy to have signed for @manchesterunited Looking forward to the future”, while Jack added “Next challenge…”

The duo join a Manchester United under-18s side which have begun the season in strong form, with 4-0 and 4-1 victories against Middlesbrough and Stoke.

Both Jack and Tyler Fletcher are midfielders, who have split loyalties at international level. Switching Manchester clubs is not the only tricky decision they have had to make.

They both represented England at under-16s level before switching to Scotland in 2022.

Both players made one appearance each at under-18s level for City, and will hope to be involved for United after being registered to play.

Duo join Harry Amass

The Fletcher twins join Harry Amass in joining the Manchester United academy, who has signed from Watford.

Amass, a left-back, is an England youth international who clinched his deal to sign for United in July.
