Manchester United youngster Ruben Curley is making positive progress with his recovery from an ACL tear.
There was devastating news last summer for Manchester United youngster Ruben Curley, when he suffered a torn ACL.
He had been expected to play a prominent role for United’s under-18s side this season after making his debut for the side in the 2021/22 campaign.
Now he has shared an update showing he is back wearing boots and training as he takes a step forward in his recovery.

Ruben Curley making progress
17-year-old midfielder Ruben Curley has offered a positive update on his recovery.
He shared the below image on Instagram as he moves along with his comeback journey, with an eye on being ready to feature next season.

Curley had featured in pre-season in the Super Cup NI last summer before suffering his injury.
He sustained his torn ACL just 24 hours after news broke that teammate Ethan Ennis had been struck with the same injury.
Ennis is yet to offer an update on his own recovery but Curley’s progress suggests he could also be making similar strides.
Losing a year of your career is tough for any player, let alone a young talent. Hopefully it won’t be too long before both of them are back playing football again. The signs look encouraging.
