Manchester United youngster Gabriele Biancheri was on the scoresheet for Wales under-17s last night.
It is beginning to look like Manchester United may have signed a star earlier in 2023.
Gabriele Biancheri joined Manchester United from Cardiff City earlier this year, linking up with the Red Devils’ under-18s side.
It didn’t take long for Biancheri to show what he could do, coming off the bench to score on his under-18s debut.

Gabriele Biancheri scores for Wales u17s
Gabriele Biancheri has been in action for Wales under-17s side at the European Championship finals, the country’s first in this age group since 1981.
While Wales have now been eliminated from the tournament at the group stages, they did sign off with a 3-0 victory over group winners Poland last night.
Biancheri broke the deadlock by scoring a diving header in the 82nd minute, before his side added two late goals.
Wales’ official match report described: “A superb delivery by Issaka on the right wing found Biancheri close to the penalty spot, with the forward’s thundering header finding the top corner.”
It was a good way for Biancheri to sign off for the season, and Manchester United will see a lot more of him at under-18s level in 2023/24.
Still only 16, the teenager is a bright talent for the future and he is providing reason to be optimistic about his potential, without getting carried away.
He has played 82 minutes for United at under-18s level in total, and will turn 17 in September.
